RIVERVIEW HOTEL AND RESTAURANT

This former bridge tender's home, a landmark since 1886, is set back from the Intracoastal Waterway at the edge of the North Causeway, which to this day has an operating drawbridge. Rooms open out to plant-filled verandas and balconies, and views look either through trees to the Intracoastal or onto the private courtyard and pretty pool. Each room is furnished differently with charming antique touches, such as an old washbasin, a quilt, or a rocking chair. Continental breakfast is served in your room. The inn has an excellent gift shop and is near interesting art galleries and stores. 19 rooms, 2 suites. Restaurant, fans, in-room data ports, cable TV, pool, dock, bicycles, 2 bars, Internet, meeting rooms, free parking, complimentary Continental breakfast. AE, D, DC, MC, V.

RIVERVIEW HOTEL

Beautiful place nestled on the intracoastal waterway, a few pleasurable blocks to the beach and great nightlife. Very scenic sunset and waterway views from a spacious balcony/porch. Four star restaurant Riverview Charlie's for the epicurians. They provide bicycles and beach towels also. Large live oaks with spanish moss everywhere. You can load your car up and drive onto the beach to find a good spot.

RIVERVIEW HOTEL AND RESTAURANT

A great quaint hotel in New Smyrna Beach Florida, just south of Daytona Beach, owned by my longtime friends and WorldProFunTeam members Jim and Christa Kelsey

It is right on the Intracoastal Waterway and just a couple of blocks from the Daytona type beach.

It is also within an hours drive of Disney World. Jim and Christa also owned the legendary Faro Blanco Resort in Marathon Florida where many a night was spent putting the "Brass Ring" on the hook at the Anglers Lounge. Somehow, it always seemed to get a little easier with every pitcher of margarittas.....

Guest rooms are all unique and comfortable. Most rooms have balconies or patios with views of the tropically landscaped heated pool or the boat traffic on the Indian River. Amenities includes an expanded continental breakfast, morning newspaper, HBO, nightly turndown service, complimentary bicycles, massage and facial treatment room and room service from the adjoining Kelsey's Riverview Restaurant.
